“It’s a pretty powerhouse show,” Dwyer said of “Wicked.” “I think spectacle is what people go to see at first, but it’s really much more about friendship. It’s actually a very simple story about being accepted, about feeling different and about being misunderstood. I think everybody has felt that way at some point in life. Both Glinda and Elphaba are misunderstood, and people relate to their situation and to their friendship. Of course, the costumes are beautiful, and there’s glitter and flying monkeys — but the story is what people can relate to.”

Studio 7Arts presents an evening of ‘Rock’N Roll Debauchery’ August 9th at The Cutting Room beginning at 10pm. This tantalizing theatrical experience will be a collaborative effort of some of New York’s most talented performer’s that includes the RNRD Dancer’s and Live House Band!
The evening will be Directed by Bryan Campione (Twitter’s: Broadway_Buzz), Executive Director of Studio 7Arts Angel Reed with Producer Harold Lewter (Blue Monkey Media). Hosted by the outrageously funny Lili Whiteass (42nd St, La Cage – Broadway, named “Queen of the week” by Ru Paul). Musical Director for the evening is Ronnie Negro (Rock of Ages) and Sheena DiMatteo provides Choreography.
